This Privacy Policy explains how Md. Fakharuddin ("I", "me") collects, uses and protects information when you visit fakharuddin.com (the "Site") or contact me. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.

Information I collect

Information you give me. When you email me, message me on WhatsApp or another platform, or book a consultation, I receive the details you choose to share, such as your name, email address, phone number, website URL and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically. Like most websites, the Site's server and content delivery network may record standard technical data when you visit, such as your IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, pages viewed and the date and time of your visit. This is used for security, troubleshooting and keeping the Site running.

Cookies

The Site does not currently set its own advertising or tracking cookies. Third party services used by the Site, such as a content delivery network or security service, may set strictly necessary cookies to protect the Site and deliver pages. If I add analytics, advertising or other cookies in the future, this policy will be updated before they are used.

Third party services

• Google Fonts. The Site loads fonts from Google. When your browser requests them, Google receives your IP address. See Google's Privacy Policy.
• Hosting and CDN. The Site is hosted on a third party server and may be delivered through a content delivery network, which process technical data to serve and secure the Site.
• Messaging platforms. If you contact me through WhatsApp, LinkedIn or Facebook, your message is also handled under that platform's own privacy policy.

Affiliate links

Some content on the Site, including future blog posts, may contain affiliate links, for example to Amazon. If you click one, the retailer may use cookies to track the referral. I don't receive any personal information about you from these programs, only aggregated sales or commission data. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

How I use your information

• To reply to your messages and provide consultations or services you ask for
• To keep the Site secure, working properly and free of abuse
• To understand, in general terms, how the Site is used so I can improve it
• To meet legal obligations, where they apply

I do not sell, rent or trade your personal information.

How long I keep it

I keep messages and contact details only as long as needed to respond to you, work with you, or meet legal or business record keeping needs. Server logs are kept for a limited period and then deleted or anonymised.

Your choices and rights

You can ask me at any time to access, correct or delete the personal information I hold about you, or to stop contacting you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR. To make a request, email im@fakharuddin.com.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your information, including serving the Site over HTTPS and limiting access to stored messages. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's privacy

The Site is not directed at children under 13, and I do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent me personal information, please contact me and I will delete it.
